Any person who has suffered damages as a result of a road traffic accident has the right to compensation. This includes pedestrians, passengers, and other road users. 

Very often, falls and slips are a cause of long-term injuries, pain, and suffering. Every year, hundreds of people experience such incidents, but very few know what their rights are when this happens.

A workplace accident is an unwanted event for any worker or employee, which gives rise to specific financial liability of the employer.

Medical malpractice is an improper or negligent act carried out by a medical specialist or healthcare staff during the provision of healthcare to patients. 

Accidents caused by animals happen frequently, but victims rarely know their rights. Usually, victims seek their rights only in extremely serious cases involving serious bodily injury or death.

Bodily injury is an unlawful act that leads to damage to health, affecting the anatomical integrity and physiological functions of the human being and/or causing mental discomfort.

Practising sport is an integral part of the life of the modern person. Active exercise is a major factor for a healthy lifestyle, but unfortunately, it sometimes also leads to damage to health.

The basis of this right is laid down in Article 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, which states that “The State shall be liable for damages caused by unlawful acts or actions of its bodies and officials.”

The most common violations of the personal rights and dignity of citizens do not fall within the classic categories of road traffic or property damages.
